SKC Postmatch

What???? I mentioned no names in the response.

This is reaching dead horse stage, but nobody labeled "someone a racist simply for saying a player was lazy" as you wrote.

I understand people have the impression and the feeling like that's what happened. However, it is not what happened, nor what was intended.

There was someone who wasn’t you who called me racist even though I thought you implied it. So he’s not wrong. Also, for clarity purposes I didn’t report anyone, I actually missed the end of the conversation. Regardless, I’m pretty sure this is the opposite of what dan wants to be reading right now so I’m not commenting on this matter any further.

For those in attendance for both, how did the rain and field conditions compare to the Seattle game?

Rather better on both counts for the most recent game. Then again I've been in less rainy tornados in comparison to the Seattle game, so take that as you will.

Wednesday was really quite mild in terms of rain games to be honest.

From my expert opinion, the rain was worse for the Seattle match. That was a storm. SKC was more a downpour. The Seattle match had standing puddles of water (see the Dempsey shot). The field was wet both times and playing were slipping both times but Seattle was much worse.

That's the sense I got watching on TV for this one, but that can be deceptive (I was at the stadium for Seattle).

I rewatched the condensed game this morning and I do have to say that couple players that I have been very hard on had very good games.

Looked like we were playing a 4231 with Tommy and Pirlo in holding positions. I thought bought of them played better then their recent form. Pirlo probably should have been subbed out around the 70 minute mark. Also nice to see Tommy actually attempting some legit shots outside the box.

Maxi was my MOTM, but I thought RJ played a great game on the offensive end. He had a number of key passes that resulted in scoring opportunities. His problem is that he just is a total trash defender. I think he would benefit from formation change to 3 ATB less defensive responsibilities as a wingback.

I still like Khiry, but the kid cant play the left side. His strength is as an overlapping guy playing crosses from the right wing using his strong foot. I think he has the physical tools to be a great right back. He has a better motor and workrate than allen already. I think he would benefit like allen with a formation change to 3 ATB
