Don't know if Chris mentioned this anywhere but according to the CB4 website they will be discussing the Bronx Parking Development Company Restructuring and Lease Severance at the May 25th meeting.

Miami just dropped some new renderings of their soon to be stadium in Miami proper. Should break ground sometime next year. *sigh*View attachment 11204View attachment 11205

Their stadium is locked up in government/legal blockades. I remember watching the city proceedings from my computer a few years ago. Don't think they'll be starting construction in 2022.

Lots of petitions going around the stadium today. Not sure what good it'll do, but, I'm guessing something will get passed on at the next community board meeting.

Petitions for what exactly? Were this official NYCFC petitions?

I wish I took a picture on my phone of what exactly it said.

It basically was a statement in support of what the potential development could bring to the South Bronx.

I believe it was citizen led and not coming from the club (everyone was dressed like a fan and I get the feeling that NYCFC has a formal gameday dresscode for its employees). There was a group of people going around with the petitions on clipboards.

I was trying to remember if anything like that had been done before. I've only missed a handful of Yankee Stadium games since inception and this was the first time I remember seeing something like that... but alcohol could be playing a role in my recollection!

Anywho, nothing major -- just something I wanted to share because not everyone can make it to the stadium these days.

Or they were NYCFC employees instructed to dress as fans.

I saw this at the prior match. I don’t think it’s official or even quasi-official from a supporters group. The language from what I recall is the same or similar to this

It was in the window of Yankee Tavern so maybe they know more, or at least know who’s petition it is
It's just odd that they are calling those two out since one of them seems to be an ally in this and the other I wouldn't necessarily say supports this (this isn't a bad thing), but is interested enough to see what the proposals are going to be.
