Got it, must say it is a large box, guess I ca I'm liking the magnets and the scarfs are sweet.

...meanwhile my package has sat in Mount Vernon at a sorting facility all day. I am having a hard time figuring out why my FedEx 2 day Delivery went out on Friday and wont arrive until Tuesday. Every which was I add it up...it amounts to 5 days, possibly 4 if I allow Friday be a freebie.

Yeah they don't count Saturday or Sunday and the day they ship doesn't count either. If you counted the day of shipping then overnight delivery (eg., ship Monday deliver Tuesday) would be 2-days and everyone considers it one-day.

For all that, disappointing that your package sat around all day so close.

Those of you that ordered a season parking pass, was that included in the box? Wondering if I need to contact the club since I did and nothing was in there.

Mine wasn't in there either. But it looks like Rox got his. So we both have to call

Mine sat in Newark all day getting RBNJ stink all over it. Still says its coming tomorrow but from time to time fedex transfers packages to the US postal service for delivery. If that happens I wont see it for days because the post office in my neighborhood in massively incompetent and board line corrupt.

Random side questions since I have only lived in NYC for 2 years and this never happened in other places I lived:
1. Does anyone else have fedex stuff transferred to the post office once arriving in the city for delivery regularly?
2. Are most NYC post offices typically horrible or is it just mine? They pretend to attempt delivery and say I wasn't there on days I am home all day, they wait days till they send the package slip, and when you finally go to pick it up they are rude and each employee has a different set of rules on what you need to get the package. I have always had good experiences with the postal service until moving here now I open shipping emails with dread praying that it's coming UPS or Fedex and will stay fedex.

I can only hope mine has also been farmed out to the USPS - my last update was at 12:20am when it left Newark and disappeared..... that said, it wouldn't be the first time it's happened to me (FedEx to USPS), FedEx has become a bit notorious for this in the city to cut costs. It's actually sitting 2 blocks away from me at the main Bkln post office by the Bkln Bridge - if there was a way to pick it up, I'd go over and save them the hassle but waiting in line & then dealing with those mofos behind the plexiglass is worse than sitting on the toilet with the stomach flu.

That said, Tracking shows my new Onion Kit has been transferred from FedEx to the USPS and definitely is sitting in their building down the street. I'm guessing I'll get both items tomorrow provided the tickets arrive from Newark, but after 19 hours with no update, it's a safer bet to say the truck is wrecked on the Pulaski Skyway....

Mine was not included either, but it might not be a mistake. IIRC Rox has Delta Club seats which have parking passes as part of the deal. It could be that those were included here while ours are handled differently.

You must live in my neighborhood because you just perfectly described my post office.

My PO in Queens is good now but when I lived in 10024 (UWS) 25-30 years ago it definitely had theft/corruption issues that I experienced.

As for the FedEx-->UPS hand0ff. I hate it too. UPS also has a similar program. But I thought they could only do it if the shipper specifically allows for it and pays a lower rate. I didn't think they could just randomly decide to give certain packages to the USPS.

I'm on the UES, my post office is the one at 91st and 3rd. Sorry for the rant but it's nice to know I'm not the only one.

Well, we are still waiting for our package, but today the Red Bulls solicited us. So, we had some fun with that. Warning - this video contains no substantive analysis. But it makes fun of the RB, so that's fun too.

Box arrived around noon today.

I'm impressed by the tin box and had a laugh about how intricate the timing must have been between announcing the new away kit design and having these tins stamped out.

The pins are nice, and the scarves are waaaay better than last year's. I feel pretty meh about the giant magnets, mostly just because they aren't the kind of thing I decorate with.

Seasoncards themselves are a step up. No real opinion about the lanyards.

I'm stoked! Let the season begin!
