LAFC, Seattle and Orlando have networks listed on YouTube TV. Anyone know about this and what it is exactly? Does NYCFC have one? If not, should they get one?

YouTube TV is the regional broadcaster of those respective teams. NYCFC doesn't have one because we're on YES (and FOX Sports Go with a cable subscription).

It's very plausible that the next MLS TV deal with be a non-traditional media partner like YouTube TV and all MLS matches will be on their platform.

well i'm gonna point out the obvious, YoutubeTV is the main sponsor of LAFC. I assume it is like, say Real Madrid TV or Inter Channel, where they show training clips and new reports. Probably some behind the scenes episodes, player interviews, previews and post game, reruns of old games etc...

Those teams air their games live on YouTube TV instead of on a local TV channel. That's all it is.

YouTube TV also has a dedicated pregame and postgame show for LAFC. The pregame and postgame is all baked into the single "show" that YES does for NYCFC for our games.

Seattle and Orlando both air live on TV. Their deals are for local streaming rights. As I long as we air on YES, I can't see us moving from Fox Sports Go.

The sponsorship of LAFC is what led me to look into YouTubeTV, switch to it, and save $150/month.

YouTubeTV has local TV options, which in LA includes coverage of LAFC and in NYC includes the YES Network. I can’t get the LAFC games, but I am good for Yankees and NYCFC.

No Red Bulls for what it’s worth.

Didn’t Dolan sell Cablevision? No reason why he can’t jump onboard internet streaming.
