The Third Rail Is The Biggest Joke I've Ever Seen

*Shrug*...make fun if you wish...but Im not the only one who's said it. I have a couple friends who follow soccer that said the same thing...especially after the whole nazi/racist drama at the beginning of the season.

Hi jaycrewz , I am a "part time " member, and just want to let you know , I am Hispanic and been a member for about a year. I have only attended about 3 get together's at the unveiling, once in Nevada Smith and another event both sponsored by NYCFC and TTR at a men's store ( cannot recall the name ) but I do recall how delicious the cocktails were and like any gathering there are some people you have affinity with and others you never see them again.
I am saddened you feel the way you feel and not to dismiss your feelings or experience with TTR. As far as I know there are some issues with the leadership right now that has nothing to do with racism or discrimination. It may have to do more with internal power play. My concern with them is their lack of communication with me, and speaking with another member its the same issue too. I am not making excuses for them, I am just another Juana/Jane in the bunch. When I said above, that I am a PT member is that they don't answer e-mails or take weeks to do so when the event is over and that ticks me off.

I am not sure what you're saying jaycrewz, but the Third Rail has not been "infiltrated" by racist hooligans. Now, admittedly, there seems to be persistent rumors, but I have never experienced any racism nor the alleged behavior and chants people are citing.

It was in blogs, discussed in social media, and even brought up here in the past. And they seemed to refer to a couple incidents involved some hispanic wannabe nazis...as odd as that sounds.

Well hopefully the group can turn around. Seems the consensus is that a lot of egos are butting heads and people dont know how to share leadership of the group.

We'll have to agree to disagree jaycrewz - my concern, simply, is that these are all hearsay reports. Again, I, as you are saying, have heard them consistently, but I believe I have been around enough that I would have heard them myself or at least have seen a recording of some kind by now.

I cannot disagree with your other assessment and I have the same hope for a turn-around.

Have you ever been inside the supporters section or are you just voicing concerns over an article you read? If it's the second one then all you have to do is go. It was one article on EoS which had no photos, no video and showed no connection other than some guys in the section which is general admission.

They were quickly kicked out by security. No one has seen them since.

Just because someone shows up and sits somewhere doesn't mean they have any connection to the people around them. Trust me on this, I can go and sit in a nice restaurant and even have dinner but at the end of the night I'm not going home to a million dollar apartment on the Upper East Side. Doesn't mean everyone who eats at that restaurant is middle class or that I'm a millionaire. I just happened to be in the same place as people who are.

TL;DR- if you think this or any supporters group is in anyway racist then you do not see the whole picture.
