Almost surely the next August I will be in NYC and I would like to be At Yankee Stadium for the Hudson derby. I have read that the cheapest tickets is 38$ in the standing only sections and 44$ in the some sections on the opposite side of the stadium. For how long will be possible to buy these tickets? And will be open also the 300 and 400 levels and what could be their prices? If I buy a ticket on the NYCFC site and print it, is it already possible to entry to the stadium with it or it is necessary to change it with a physical ticket at the stadium? Thanks for the possible help.

You'll be able to buy tickets until kickoff, even this match is unlikely to sell out on TicketMaster. And if it does, you can buy on StubHub.

They will likely not be opening up the 300s and 400s levels to the public (they put the away supporters there in a few sections together).

I'm not certain about print at home, but you don't need a physical ticket from the box office to enter the stadium. Tickets are usually digital and anywhere you buy them online will have the ability to get them to your phone.

Thanks. I am worried because I see on the site (https://www1.ticketmaster.com/event/1D00563DA3CA12CA) that there are very few cheap tickets (only 14 tickets in 234 section, 8 tickets in 212 section, 12 tickets in 213 section etc). It seem that the stadium (without the 300 and 400 levels) is almost sold out .....

The midweek derby last year either sold out or came very close - they listed 30,000+ for that game which is just about a sell-out without opening the upper deck, which they aren't likely to do aside from the Red Bulls supporters. So yes, I'd buy tickets now if you don't want to have to rely on Stubhub.

They don't do print at home anymore, all tickets are mobile. So if you buy tickets on Ticketmaster, you'll have to use the Ticketmaster app on your phone to get into the Stadium.

In my nation (Italy) it isn't possible to download the app of Ticketmaster. What could be the solution?
Instead of using the app, use the mobile website, that should work too because that's how I always access my tickets!

This is has been the replay from NYCFC fan services:

Did you try buying from a computer? You can download our NYCFC app and try through there as well. My recommendation would be to try through a computer. You won’t be able to print tickets out, because Yankee Stadium is mobile entry only, but you can have your tickets printed at the stadium.
If you’re still having difficulty let us know.
Thanks.

Again, try purchasing the tickets on a laptop or computer, and then just go to ticketmaster.com without the app... that's how I do it. Have you tried that?

Yes, if you visit Ticketmaster.com on your phone's web browser, you should be able to see the ticket and enter the game that way.

What can mean this new for the fans which will go to the stadium by subway Saturday 24th August?

Basically, 2 trains will run on the 4/5/6 line in Manhattan. So basically, avoid routes that would normally require you to take the 2 from the west side into the Bronx. Your best bet would be to take the B/D (D is express) from the west side, or the 4 train on the east side.

Wow we have fans in Napoli! Colorado was making a big deal out of their die hard Italian fan.

*tears up* Oh the beautiful game - it brings people together.

Fabio - hope you can make it to the derby in august. It should be a great atmosphere!
