This might affect few people other than me, and might not even be a forum issue, but...

My firm blocks Twitter. When someone posts a tweet here or on other sites I can usually see the text but not any attached image. Sudeenly today when psople are posting tweets I see nothing but an empty box with a twitter logo.

Maybe it's a twitter change. Maybe is a change in the blocking software. But if it''s a change implemented here please know it has this side effect. Thanks.

I have the same issue at my work.

Definitely your blocking stuff at work.
We haven't made any changes and our Twitter software hasn't been updated either.

Thanks. It's not a huge deal but I was wondering. And my firm is actually quite nice about letting us get around it. The block is only on our official computers and the hardwired network, which is super secure. They also run secure but unblocked WiFi so you can check things unimpeded on your phone, tablet, or personal laptop if you have one in the office. I bought a cheap chromebook for just this purpose.

(Not forum specific but maybe someone knows the answer)

I switched to android a couple months ago and have noticed that twitter links usually won't open the first time I click on them. Twitter.com will open, but I'll get a generic error message or one about being rate limited. Some combination of reloading the site, refreshing within the page, or (at worst) re-clicking on the original link will usually get it open.

Not the worst thing in the world, but it's annoying, and I haven't found a fix through googling. It's a Pixel 3 running Anroid 9

I've been on Android so long that I hadn't correlated this with switching. But can confirm that it happens to me. It also asks me for my Twitter login credentials for the API (vs. general web-serving Twitter). Off the top of my head I can't figure out why that would be a platform specific thing.
