no talk of the porto roma game. that VAR penalty was bad, ball was not in reach and was level with the player when the jersey was pulled. For the handball question, maybe a solution is an unintentional handball goes back to where the shot came from out of the box. In the box it is a penalty if they arm is not in a natural position. For PSG, looked like he tried to pull his arm and not handball it...
I thought that was a more fair decision. He was onside and got taken down, from what I saw it was more than a Jersey pull, he clipped his foot.
Then they should have reviewed and called the penalty the other way when the ball was near the endline a few minutes later.
That one was tricky as well and would have had controversy either way it was called IMO. Both fun games with crazy controversial endings.
Somewhere today, an Italian leather boot shattered Jose’s TV set.
I like the line of reasoning that goes: he *was* trying to *block* the shot, and he ended up specifically blocking the shot with his arm, accidentally or not. Penalty.
Are you saying these teams "can't" be drawn together because you have certain rooting interests and you don't want to see those match ups?
Asking because starting with the round of 8, any teams can be drawn against any other.

I'm surprised at PSG. Thought they could make the final. Called Spurs though, figured that would be the upset, but Ajax is bigger. Couple teams did themselves in.
While i still dont agree with some of the decisions this is pretty cool. It's at least nice to see the process and the thought behind it.

Interesting tidbit regarding the Juve/Atletico game. The supporters groups have been on strike all year against the club for rising ticket prices mainly. They have refused to chant. Last game they had a moment of remembrance for the Heysel Stadium disaster and the one side of the stadium sang and the other side didn't approve. There's been many threats between the groups to not make any noise. Especially from the drughis. That said they are lifting the ban for one game to support the team this UEFA match.

It was definitely a soft foul, but they deserved the win. I watch every game and this is the best they've played all season. They smothered Atletico from the whistle.
Tomorrow has some interesting games. Both ended 0-0 in the 1st leg.
