Westchester County Supporters

Welcome Angel Angel... It's mostly USMNT and American Outlaws right now, but we're turning Beechmont in White Plains (not New Ro) into a pretty solid soccer bar right now. That'll probably be our away games spot for 914.

P.S. If you eat sushi... you can find my ass inside Sushi Castle in Eastchester like 2 times a week haha

Sounds good, can't wait! I have yet to go to Sushi Castle, how is it?

Westchester resident here, hoping to get this started!

I say any of the bars on Mamaroneck Ave in White Plains will be a good spot to find an official bar for this faction to watch road games and other major soccer games (CL, World Cup, Euro, etc...) if interested.

I'm a pretty big fan of the game. Love the USMNT obviously and support Chelsea in the EPL (feel free to hate!). I haven't had much interest in the MLS, probably because the local team (NYRB) was too far from home to go watch on a consistent basis. I do enjoy watching the Portland, Seattle and Vancouver games for their atmosphere and hopefully we can do the same here! I've been wanting to join a local USMNT Or Chelsea supporters group in the area but just haven't found the time. If anyone has a good recommendation, please send me way!

So let's get something going here this summer so come March 2015, we're roaring to go. Loving the hype and publicity of this club, so this should be fun!

The American Outlaws home bar is the Beechmont on Post Road (next to old Thirsty Turtle). It's becoming the defacto soccer bar of Westchester. I'll be there tonight for the USA game.

I thought the game was at 7 yesterday, I got to the Beechmont at 6:40 and no one was there. Apparently I did not realize it was 7pm on the west coast. I had a conference call at 8pm and planned to come back to watch the game but I got off the call well into the first half sadly. I did get to meet Tony, Marc, Mike, Nick, Olga and another woman whose name I am forgetting. If anyone is going to the soccer game on Saturday I was told there is a night before the game party Sat night in the City. I will probably go there at some point.

Repping WP here myself. I play kickball and Beechmont sponsors us so I'm sure you saw a lot of them in there last night. Not a huge fan of that place personally but definitely going to be at Brazen / Ron Blacks for the US Germany game. Likely headed to Legends / Jack Dempseys / Nevada's for the others, hard to pass up Manhattan for these big events.

Westchester Outlaws will definitely be at Beechmont, not Brazen. They've done a lot to turn themselves into a soccer bar. They have our scarves (along with AO Long Island) on the wall above the bar. They've bought packages for GolTV, Bein Sport, MLS Direct Kick, etc to get more soccer on TV.

Brazen was awesome during the WC in 2010, but the first friendly against Brazil or Mexico that August was on a Friday night and they wanted no part of us being there.

We rolled approx 40 deep last night at Beechmont for the Azerbaijan game. It's a good time.

Ron blacks and brazen have installed 2 flat screens on their back patio. They had them going for game 1 last night and will be used during World Cup. Anyone who wants to be outside and watch hit them up.

Any of you Westchester guys applying for the Player Care Coordinator job at NYCFC ;)
Basically it´s just babysitting really..

One of the areas that will set NYCFC apart from other teams around the league is our ‘Player Care’ department. We understand that moving to a new country, city or state can be daunting, particularly with a family. The Player Care Coordinator will assist all players and their families with the transition into the NYC area and helping establish their new lives within the community. These tasks can range from the acquisition of work permits and visas to assisting in the securing of mobile phone plans and everything in between. This role is vital to the transition of the players as it provides them an opportunity to concentrate solely on their profession.
