Yankee Stadium to undergo numerous enhancements

Just re-located. Dan Steeves called me. He was super helpful. He even had the two seats he thought I would choose reserved already.

Everyone who got bumped goes to the front of the relocation queue, which is both nice and fair. Well done, FO staffers.

ETA: Who's in 126?
I'm in 127B for the playoff game on November 6. Trying it out for a possible relocation next year. Happened by it on the concourse last game and the view looked pretty sick.

I'm in 126. Great location. Essentially midfield. You have a monster bar behind you, a bathroom directly behind you, Carvel, numerous food options. Only downside is that you are far away from the entrance gates.

How is it sitting so far from the touchline? That would be my only concern there.

Hasn't been an issue. Being under the mezzanine cover, having amenities right there, the vantage point, having no obstructions - all makes up for it. In a perfect world, I would sit in the RF Bleachers, but those aren't accommodative seats all things being equal. You're really not that far from the pitch where we are.

I was actually very surprised standing behind 127B at how close you felt. That space always put me off but it seems bigger on the seating charts than it actually looks

Legends Club is closed for the playoffs as it's also getting a facelift.

I heard the children's playground is on the 3rd level. And they'll only open it up for us when a match requires selling 300 level seats.

Just an FYI that the Yankees have updated their virtual venue with the renovations. Ours has not updated, but you can still get an idea.

BTW, did anyone else get Yankees Tickets for Christmas and kind of disappointed about it?

When you consider all the expected youth on the roster next year (look at the position players likely to start: Bird, Castro, Didi, Headley, Sanchez, Judge, Ellsbury, Gardner (and maybe Frazier at some point), I think they're going to be really exciting and fun to watch, even if they don't get to 90 wins. Young players always give a team a jolt.

Not this. But I did get a gift this year from my wife and it was a telling moment about my life in general that with an entire planet's worth of stuff that could have been under that wrapping paper, I couldn't think of anything it could be other than NYCFC merch. In the end, it was not NYCFC related and I found myself shocked that there could be something else gift worthy in the world.

dammit! why? I liked going there to eat before the game - now it's gonna be roped off

For $15 it's not going to be roped off at all. They make more money off food and beverages from everyone else going there than will from these ticket buyers. Don't worry.

These tickets are basically just $15 to let you into the stadium. The terraces are likely the best place to stand to watch the match of standing room locations in the stadium.

It get more fans at the door at a cheaper price. It's a good thing. Maybe you'll have to wait a minute or two longer though at the cashiers.

Translated: $15 entry to the stadium and the opportunity to go find an empty seat because ushers never check except at kickoff.
