i have the same in my UPS account. Seems likely it is from NYCFC as it is coming from Edison, NJ. I don't think it's a scarf (at least not a normal one). Maybe just some of the stuff they were planning to give out at home games and now need a way to get rid of it all. Easiest way is to give to STHs.

Don't mind them at all. I'm always losing them in a drunken haze at games, and I can always do with a spare few to bring for any first-timers who come along with me.

still doesn't explain why they'd put the Bronx on there when the club is supposed to represent the entire city. *shrug*

They’re always been big on the boroughs with each having their own night and the match would’ve been in, the Bronx. I don’t see an issue with that. My opinion.

they were a team in the old USL pro in 2011 for one year and then following year played in the amateur NPSL for like half a season because they could not find a field to host games i think they folded half way thru the 2012 season.

i got one decent black and blue knit scarf from the rewards program (are they still doing that?). Its my everyday scarf in the winter, i even use it occasionally as a cover for covid reasons.... ill take as many knit scarfs as they can give me.... problem is they only give the cheap nylon crap ones.... i don't want any of those. Those just give me a sense of guilt to keep when i should be throwing them out.

Because it would have been the location of the game. Like a Super Bowl scarf with the name of the Super Bowl city on it.

Or a Euro Cup game having the two nations as well as the host city. Makes sense, they probably had these produced and no method of selling them. Just ship the shits out, probably only cost a few bucks to produce them.
