Just saw over at mlssoccer.com they're all set for the 2015 Fantasy Season to start. Here's the squad I'm starting out with:

  • G = Busch, Chicago Irwin, Colorado Hamid, DCU Rimando, RSL
  • D = Hagglund, Toronto
  • D = Palmer-Brown, SKC Francis CLB Palmer, Chicago
  • D = Moor, Colorado Gargan, L.A.
  • D = Laurentowicz, Chicago
  • M = Finlay, CLB Mix, NYCFC
  • M = Morales, RSL Mix, NYCFC Kaka (Captain)
  • M = DeLeon, DCU
  • M = Arnaud, DCU Shipp, Chicago
  • F = Villa, NYCFC (Captain)

I'm not even being sarcastic; this is a great way for those new to the sport to learn about it. It's fun; it's easy.

P.S. Drew Moor is going to be out for some time rehabbing from an ACL injury.
 
No problem. I know they're going to be putting up "projected points" this year, which should help, but sometimes MLS Fantasy isn't great about updating you on injuries which is why you have to do your homework. even then, oftentimes teams hide them until the starting lineups come out, which is why auto subs is so great.
 
Yeah, I kind of remember getting nailed a time or two last year.......same with suspensions too, iirc.
 
Been a bit busy the last few days with birthday and nephew due today. I'll check it out and see if we can do a league for members and a prize.

Basically you pick out a team of 18 players (2 GK, 6 D, 6 MF and 4 F) and you have to stay at or under the $120 million salary cap. Each week you set your starting 11 and each player will receive or lose points depending on his performance in his actual game.

It's really easy. You can even let the computer pick your team if you want. You'll have 7 players on your bench that you can substitute each week and you can make transfers for other players if you like.

There's a few articles on the MLS page that will give you hints and explain things in more detail.

Ah yup.......not even 24 hours in and already I've made 5 changes. I'm already in mid-season form!

Great Caesars Ghost start the season.......it's the only way I'm going to settle on a set lineup.
