Andres Jasson [Forward] [HG]

Andres will continue his education at Yale University over the next few years, combining soccer and classes. He said: “it was always a big dream to sign pro, to sign a homegrown here, but I also thought it was really important to have an education and think about what comes after soccer. So I made the decision to go to Yale for a semester, and be able to start my education there and look to continue that through the next three to four years.”

In 2021, Jasson led MLS in fouls drawn/90 minutes (500 minute minimum) at 5.18/90 - nearly a full foul/90 more than 2nd place Ezequeal Barco.

In 2022, his rate fell to 2.5/90, and he didn't hit the minute minimum. Matko Miljevic led the league at 4.42.

This season, he is back on top at 4.44/90, just ahead of Felipe Mora at 4.12.

This is probably my favorite thing to watch whenever he is in the game. It's like putting up K's for Doc Gooden in the old days. I just love counting them out every time he hits the pitch and the whistle blows.

Persistent Infringement!

Oh damn I thought this was a loan at first. Congratulations to him! I enjoyed what he brought to the team but always kinda cringed when he was introduced at a starter or sub. Just felt his ceiling was too low with all the other players around him. But getting a chance in Europe has to be a dream come true! I love Denmark so I hope he enjoys it!

I'm gonna miss him.

And now our Yalie is gone, and we are stuck with Harvard and Princeton.
I loved having three Ivy Leaguers on the pitch at once. Pretty amazing that he managed to graduate along the way.

Good for him. He was a useful role player for us. I can’t imagine he’d have gotten many minutes going forward with our current depth and he can develop further outside the NYCFC bubble.

Did he really get all the way to graduation? I was wondering about that. Good for him.
