Awesome Away Jersey & Kit, Home Kit Needs Some New Yorkness Thrown In.

As a former Adidas Apparel and Sneaker designer here in SoHo NYC, I think the Colors and the overall look is awesome regarding the Away Kit!

*All MLS Jerseys should have the American Flag on it and for the Canadian teams the Canadian Flag, we need to represent!

The Home Kit is nice and angelic but my issue with it is all the white, it just needs just some New Yorkness "Grit" thrown in it a bit.

*All I realy want is for the Home kit it to swap out the White for Black or go ALL Sky Blue with the Jersey, Shorts and Socks.

Heres some of my picks of the concepts for the NYC FC Home Jersey.

The NYC FC Home Jersey could and should be slightly tweaked with adding 5 subdued monochromatic vertical stripes like the Away Jersey so it is "not blatantly replicating" the Manchester City FC Home Jersey.

And if their is ever a third NYC FC Jersey & Kit I think these would be cool additions as well.

I absolutely LOVE our NYCFC Black Away Uniforms! I really like the Sky Blue but I am not much of a fan of the White as it gets to dirty and I can't see myself purchasing and wearing the current Home Jersey and all the light blue apparel around town. The Home Kit lacks hardcore New York Style but it does look pretty. I would like to see alternates.
