These guys are basically using NYCFC as a front for their wannabe tough guy/disorderly behavior. They care more about posting selfies on Facebook and Instagram of them acting like supposed badasses instead of supporting the team. Images of flares, smoke bombs, graffiti and standing in groups trying to look tough. Its juvenile/hey-look-at-me stuff but unfortunately there are idiots in society and we all know these are them.
I bet you the NYCFC front office is well aware of these people (you can usually tell who they are if they are wearing those skull bandanas over their faces). They should be banned for life from every MLS stadium.
As for the Garden State Ultras, I don't think they have as much of a presence on social media, but it appears their mindset is a bit similar. I've seen images of their logo with the words 'Street Justice.
I don't know how many of you guys have been to Red Bull Arena, but one of the problems there is that the GSU has their own section. If you have ever walked to the South Ward (supporters) side of the stadium, the GSU logo is plastered on a big decal behind section 133. So in a way the Red Bulls front office is legitimizing these guys and their stupid behavior by giving them ad space at their stadium. Empire Supporters Club and Viking Army have similar decals, but you don't see their members in street brawls.
