Football Tactics

I've been following football for quite some time and have a fairly good grasp of tactics (formations, styles, etc.) but have never been able to make that next leap where I'm able to watch a game and truly see what's going on/how tactics are being changed/suggest what may work based on what's happening.

Does anyone have any websites/videos/ideas that could help with this?

I know simply watching more football is the answer, but I'd love to supplement that with some written knowledge...
