I'm looking forward to the opener vs Toronto, and all the games vs NJRB. I'm hoping we get a fourth derby in the USOC and maybe even a fifth in the playoffs.

Why are you more interested in the away games vs Montreal and Philly than the home games?

I find that going to an away game is quite fun. For instance: an away game at Philly is more fun than a home game vs Houston for example

Im looking forward to all home games. Ive been waiting all my life for my own team in my city and last year was amazing to finally see it happen. This year we continue growing and im pumped.

I really dont care who we are playing! Ill be there for every game god willing.

Surprised anyone cares about the fCosmos game. We may not even play them.
The TO games were great last year, and RB needs to get beaten this year. LA just based on the sheer star power at the game.

Screw Orlando, Montreal, philly, Chicago. Those are the bottom feeders we need to beat without trying.

I live in Upstate NY and am a broke college student so I hope to see one game this year in Yankee Stadium. I would prefer to go to a day game in May or June. Which game would people recommend as the best for on field play and atmosphere? Last year my one game was NJRB at YS and that was pretty cool from the 300 section. If only we had won...image.jpeg The photo makes everything a lot smaller than it actually was. Great view

You can't go wrong with another RBNJ game but if you wanted to see a different team Orlando was fun last year. Kaka and Larin are impressive to see in person. It's outside of your may/june window but if you're willing to wait till Aug I'd go to the LAG game. The star power on the pitch will be incredible and we probably won't see them at home again until 2018.

You've only got four games to choose from. NJ, ORL RSL, and Philly.
NJ would be best atmosphere, RSL most likely to win.

The game vs. the LI Cosmos could potentially be played at YS.

If we are so lucky, would love to see how the Cosmos act away from home and crush them on the field.

They were starting shit at the AO NYC bar two Fridays ago for USMNT v. Canada. The NYCFC fans were wearing USA colors, the NJRB fans were wearing USA colors, but the Cosmos fans were all wearing their green. As you just assumed, by the second half we were all chest to chest the borough boys.

Would love for the Kosmos to draw NYCFC and it be played at YS. I'll never make the trip out to LI and the bush-league facilities for a mid-week game. Last year was the epitome of pathetic from the dynamic duo of Kreis/Wingert, and it'll be extra special for Vieira to put his heel on the collective Kosmos' necks and keep pushing down after taking the lead.

It took everything in me to not beat up the two Cosmos fans that tried to jack my scarf. I had my wife and son with me and couldn't risk getting arrested and leave them there with no idea where I was.
I almost got jumped ngl. Luckily i got picked up seconds before their sg emptied out lol

Not surprised. I saw some of our supporters in a scuffle with a Cosmos fan. I saved that guy because he was outnumbered by far. Depending on the situation, I might stop the fight or might be in it. lol

If we make it to the playoffs, any of the home games will be fantastic. Even watching other teams on TV in the playoffs last year was insane. The deeper you get into the game the more frantic, fast-paced, counter-attacking it gets. Vancouver/Portland/Dallas were all really fun to watch in the playoffs. At a certain point you can't play possession football, just gotta turn on the jets and play the long balls - unless you managed to completely bury the other team in leg 1.
