Home game vs Houston being moved to Hartford, CT

I know I am in the VAST minority on this but I am loving this, I am a UCONN student so it is a chance for me to bring a bunch of people to an NYCFC game, UCONN already has a really strong NYCFC fan base such that we plan regular trips to the games in NYC, Pratt and Whitney Stadium is a really nice stadium and the tickets are going to be a lot cheaper than at Yankee stadium, I also like the Dynamo so that's going to be a fun game for me to go to. Also, the tailgating is actually awesome here so if people put in the effort it can be an amazing quasi-home game. I do feel for everyone though and hope you can make it to the game, I may get to meet some of you there and have a good time watching the game.
How many times do we need to say this. I'd love a fucking game in Conneticut if we knew about it before the season started. Right now we're getting stabbed in the back by the fo and the Yankees.

"We have worked very closely with Houston and MLS to find an alternative venue prioritizing our supporters and sporting department," NYCFC president Jon Patricof said in a statement.

Find it hard to believe Reyna had nothing to do with the venue choice.
Zero reason Reyna/Vieira would prefer to have their players and fans travel two hours away from home if a closer venue was available. My guess is they may have presented them with a make-up date which would have caused serious fixture congestion and Reyna/Vieira declined. If that was the case, I agree with their decision.
