I stopped reading that site a while ago because the article are ridiculous. I'm convinced the people that write for it aren't NYCFC fans.

Anyway, here is another doozy. They think Mix should be sold. Mix, before any of the other scrubs on the team. To be honest, I didn't read the article, but I'm sure it's full of gold.

Oh you should read it. He claims Grabavoy is better than mix.

One of their last articles was covering a woman who drank several Red Bull drinks a year.

The woman wasn't American or a soccer fan for all we know.

HRB jumped the shark a while ago.

His point is basically that Feilhaber, Pappa, Morales, Valeri and Diaz are better than Mix. He's right, but not being better than the best handful of MFs does not mean you should be sold.

I was a advocate for HRB... my bad wont that.

I'd been giving them the benefit of the doubt. Sure you can tell their articles are biased towards the guys who were already here, but what else did you realistically expect.

I had thought that their insight and analysis was reasonably good, and it provided a nice outside prospective. But after this article I'm not entirely sure I want to give them the add revenue from my traffic.

Incompetence mixed with NYCFC cheerleading I can handle.

Competence mixed with NYCFC derision I can stomach and respect.

Incompetence and derision of NYCFC I won't give the time of day.

The Same I'm going to mute them for awhile, a make finale decision later.

This article along with the one on the MLS site saying Grabavoy > Mix make me laugh. They try to use statistics to justify their arguments but they cherry-pick the stats they use.

According to whoscored.com (Obviously not everything in soccer is quantifiable but most people using the eye test say Mix > Grabavoy by a lot and the articles used some stats) Mix is the second highest rated player on the team who has played more than 3 games with an average rating of 7.00. Only Villa is higher. By the same standard, Grabavoy ranks 18th with an average rating of 6.60.

If you go through and analyze each specific stat point by point Mix has the advantage over Grabavoy in most of them. Add in the eye test where it seems like Mix contributes in many different ways to the team in matches while Grabavoy disappears and it becomes even clearer who is better.
