Wow what a second half. Honestly one of those games you’re actually happy to draw because it really could have gone either way.
Don’t know if it’s just Isi that makes the difference and makes us play better or tactics that PV won’t deploy unless we’re losing. We looked like a different team when he came on. Much more fluid and dangerous in attack.

It’s a good point but man it feels like we left a couple out there.

Best MLS game I’ve watched maybe ever. That was a lot of fun and a lot of good attacking by each side.

Pretty clear that Isi is a difference maker. Tinny is a warrior. Mata should start over Sweat. Jury still out on Berget but not good value so far.

The elephant in the room is whether they are better with Villa, or without. Medina and Maxi seem to play better when he is out. But enough to justify what he brings? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Medina is about as weak of a DP as you can have (outside of Lampard and Pirlo). Just don’t see how he can make a huge mark on a game against physical defenders, and in a game where he can be compared against Rossi..... doesn’t come close.

Preview of the final at YS. That would be a fun one.

Great point against a really good team on the road. Those are the points that add up at the end of the year.

Thought Villa had his best game of the season tonight. Involved, but not the focal point -- his pass to Berget really should have been the winner.

Berget makes so many smart little plays, but his first touch almost always lets him down.

Tinnerholm is awesome. Dude puts in a shift every game. What a find.

I really want to see Matarrita out there over Sweat. I just love how dynamic he looks with the ball. Suspect defensively, but Tinnerholm, Callens, and Chanot make up for that.

We still haven't lost back-to-back games in over two years.

He was a ghost out there. And when he finally got the ball, he moved at Camargo speed.

I’d take Harrison back over Medina. Harrison plays tougher with a chip on his shoulder.

LAFC is a really exciting team. And their stadium is gorgeous.

I feel like our dependables have been really lacking lately. Thought Tinner was the worst player on the field until the last 25 minutes. SJ with some big saves, but his rebound control is awful. Ring and Medina need a wake up call. Berger, Villa and Maxi all missed shots that should have been goals.

All in all entertaining game.

Berget’s shot was saved and still nearly went in. And that was after taking a tough pass in stride from Villa. Don’t think he can be blamed.

Isi is our MVP so far this season. He should always play when healthy.

Sweat is our most overpaid player on the team. And yes, I know he makes like minimum wage.

I also limited it to “player”. We need PV to just recruit and someone to actually set the team up. It’s pretty laughable how regularly he gets smacked down on the managerial front.

Still can’t believe that Berget’s shot didn’t go in. That really should have been the winner.

Also, the Latif Blessing “miss of the year” - would that have counted if it went in? I think that there was a late offside flag.

I know he gave up the own goal but I really like Ibeagha. I thought he was very calm on the ball and distributed well.
I think where he hurts us is at times when the attack isn’t coming right at him.

I was feeling the same way, so I started paying more attention to him when we were in defense, and he’s just not a proactive defender. Excellent reactive defender. Prototypical Pulis man.

We're as relient on Tajouri this year as we're with Villa in previous years.

LAFC scouted and went down Berget and Sweat’s side the whole night. They know what we all know.

I think Berget actually miskicked the ball with his left and made it awkward for a shot off his right. But yeah, good defensive play there to save a goal.
