This weekend in Montreal is also the Just for Laughs festival. It's going to be a busy and crowded city.
good vibes though, in 2016 when nycfc played in montreal the festival was going on as well. lots of events going on in the city all day and night.
That explains why we aren’t able to go. Was going to take the whole fam up for the weekend, but lodging rates are outrageous.
We ended up just getting a place on the edge of the city -- $800/night at some of the hotels we looked at. Absurd.
Booked months in advance and got a pandemic "staycation" rate.

That’s weird. I was riding with Barazza on the Goliath at la Ronde.
Saw Heber board the bus and the metro is free all weekend. It’s going to be a good game.
The number of Yankee hat/Montreal jersey combos is pretty funny.
Ian oddly convinced that “you have to be happy not allowing any goals but not scoring is bad,” is a point that deserves multiple mentions.
Don't worry. Our attackers and midfield didn't show up either.
