This weekend in Montreal is also the Just for Laughs festival. It's going to be a busy and crowded city.

good vibes though, in 2016 when nycfc played in montreal the festival was going on as well. lots of events going on in the city all day and night.

That explains why we aren’t able to go. Was going to take the whole fam up for the weekend, but lodging rates are outrageous.

We ended up just getting a place on the edge of the city -- $800/night at some of the hotels we looked at. Absurd.

Booked months in advance and got a pandemic "staycation" rate.

Looking forward to meeting those of you going. Last time I went to watch the team away in Montréal was when He Who Must Not Be Mentioned scored a brace. Hopefully we can take the 3 pts again.

Aside from Just for Laughts, it's also the Coachella equivalent in Montreal too this weekend.

The CF Montreal match is probably the 20th most notable event of the weekend.

Just for Laughs, "Coachella" weekend, some 10,000+ person medical/science conference, and the Pope is just down the road in Quebec city...

anton and chanot out with lower leg injuries.

parks is finally listed on the injury list with a lower leg injury.

really is a good thing we decided to sign a CB during preseason with all of the injuries chanot has had this year. we would have had to rely on morales or vuk at CB with callens.

Ian oddly convinced that “you have to be happy not allowing any goals but not scoring is bad,” is a point that deserves multiple mentions.
