damn you giving up on magno already? Jeez no difference maker is going to kill the leagues in 20 mins in their debut.
Edit: especially at 18, few games to get him in groove.
did I say that?

"Magno provided nothing. . . . . I still worry that we’re missing the difference maker to put us into the elite group of teams. Didn’t see him on the field today. I didn’t think Ronny’s comments about Magno last week were super encouraging"did I say that?
This is amazing. Love the impromptu chicken bucket chant at the end

There is space between giving up on Magno and what you said, but it is a small space.
Outside of Zlatan, what player that joined an MLS team midseason had in immediate impact in their first game? Let alone a few days after they even joined training.givinf up is saying he needs to go back to Brazil.
Yesterday, I didn’t see a guy that was going to cause chaos for defenders like Almiron or Lodeiro.I’m not saying he isn’t good. Just that for $8 million, you would hope we were getting a guy that could help us now. Which is what I’ve been complaining about for 4 weeks. Is this a business or a soccer team?
Lol the guy's been here maybe a week, and got about 20 minutes last night. Why jump to conclusions so quickly? I don't get how people are saying he looks disappointing or promising with such a little amount of time.givinf up is saying he needs to go back to Brazil.

See I had the opposite take, to me you could immediately see a different level of quality. But probably it was too soon and too brief to get any real sense. We’re both probably projecting our own optimistic/pessimistic tendencies, lolgivinf up is saying he needs to go back to Brazil.

at this level, you should be able to watch 20 minutes and pick out the guys that are special. If that game was played in Bolivia with no names on jerseys, a special talent should stand out immediately.
He’s raw. I don’t want raw guys. It goes back to us being a farm club for the mothership. I want something closer to a finished product.
Do you disagree with me here? How many of you guys supported the Staten Island Yankees instead of the New York Yankees?ah so it goes back to your complaints that you keep repeating ( for years) of the ownership. Which I keep reminding you its the CFG plan for NYCFC, I dont think it will ever change. we keep going around in circles with this topic.

NYCFC has more wins (8) against the Union than against any other team.
i mean according to the twitter reactions, many staten island people loved their team and hated they lost it, granted it was not hundreds of thousands but it had support. i wont lie though if there was a Upper West Side or manhattan team id probably go to that and support it much more more than the yankees.
as for nycfc team, i do like it, its in nyc (even though we now play in NJ half the time) even if its in a baseball stadium ( which is not ideal but it really is not a deal breaker for me). and i follow it much more closer than i do other teams i support. thats why i became a fan, for better of worse this is the team playing in the city ( half the time now). same reason im still a knicks fan, terrible ownership but im still there supporting since its my home team. farm team or not, for better or for worse its my home team. heck i loosely follow the NY Rugby team even though i still dont have a full understanding of the rules, nyc teams ill follow.
i know that is not the same for others, i know many people want big names and become fans of those teams ( even if they are not from there) or follow a specific player so they all cheer for specific team while they there ( like CR7 or Lebron James) and its cool i dont judge that, to each their own. but being a farm team is not going to deter me from supporting the team.
youve casually typed 3 paragraphs and avoided the essence of the question.
do you enjoy that the success of MCFC is the primary concern of our ownership group and that sometimes that mission creates a conflict?
