Rotation decisions will be interesting for these two games. Do we try and go with Best XI lineups for both games? Do we continue to rotate? After the two Derbies, we've got a Wednesday game on the road at Chicago and then a crucial clash against Nashville at RBA.

Ronnie has not started with 3 in the back the last few games - preferring to rotate the 3 CBs. Callens got 19 minutes off the bench last game, and Chanot was the one who rested against Dallas. Do we break out all 3 of them for this game?

Tinnerholm had the last game off, and hopefully will be healthy tomorrow. Gudi has gone 90' and 84' in the last two.

Acevedo only had 6' off the bench in the last match after going 81' against Dallas. Meanwhile, Parks has gone 90' for 4 straight games. A. Morales went 84' last game after having to sit against Dallas.

Talles Magno rested last game after going 81 against Dallas mid-week. Thiago also sat last week after only 20' (and a red card) against Dallas. Meanwhile, Isi and Medina have each started the last two games. Castellanos played 90 last game after sitting out the previous. Maxi the machine has gone the full 90 the last two games.

This doesn’t answer your questions but it’s relevant:

If I'm remembering correctly, it seemed like Ronny was going to go with 3 at the back for the derby before it was postponed.

In classic Gotham trivia fashion, I had forgotten about one hat trick, which was not in MLS play. Fantazma remembered that one, but incorrectly thought it had been without a penalty. JCMore and Lion got the MLS ones and the other questions correct.

Yup, I only thought about MLS games. The NYCFC player was the first in league history to score that hat trick in that non-MLS game.
