My Interview With Hrb

That interview had me all fired up to the point where I was going to down my glass of OJ and smash it over my head. The Third Rail looks to be in good hands. They need a no nonsense leader. Met Rox in Montreal a couple months back. Cool dude.

Great interview. I think that while you made comments after the letter about not being a professional writer, you definitely have a great ability to communicate. Your interview responses were very well spoken.

And I love your points about the broom. If you do ever get your hands on it, you should keep it until we sweep them, and spray paint it sky blue when they blow the whistle at game 3.

Our tifos do need work though. That "city retirement home" one that they unfurled right as the national anthem was ending was almost too perfect.

Since you're in that sweet third Rail pigeon shirt (which I would love to know how to get!), are you on board with the movement to nickname NYCFC the pigeons? #Comeonyoupigeons

It's generally sold at member meetings or at home games. You can grab one at the next home game.

Thank you. Tifo is REALLY expensive and I've been working on establishing relationships with vendors to bring our cost down as low as we can. Everything I'm working on now is so I can put the admin stuff on "auto pilot" and then we can focus on the fun stuff. Tifo is obviously something we want to be great at.

First off, good interview dude. Second I was talking with someone and the idea for digital tifo Came up what would think about that.

roxfontaine this was terrific. Your enthusiasm, excitement and commitment (and honesty) came through clearly. I would follow you into battle anytime (though sans smoke bombs, ultra tactics or fuzzy math financials).

LOL! Thanks, Jay.

Definitely an interesting idea. It probably wouldn't have the same effect, but I'd get behind it. Has any other team done anything like this? Would be cool to be seen as the pioneers of twitter tifos. No way it can replace the real thing, but couldn't hurt.

I haven't seen it before but the galaxy did something similar.
