Good stuff just went up yesterday. Anyone bidding or buying?

There are the usual pre and post-game items for the next two contests: Chalk Talk, Starting XI Photo, Post-Game Meet & Greet (sold out quickly), attending the game with Tom Glick (so far Toronto only) and the Delta Sky 360 seat upgrade.

There are a pair of Josh Saunders' game-worn gloves (no word on which game).

There is a sweepstakes to let your child walk out with the players before the Toronto game. I loved this one until I saw that the game starts at 7:30 on a school night.

There is also the absurdly high-priced "Born Kickin'" toddler tee, which I like, but only for a fraction of the 1,400 points.

To Gotham Gator.

You are one of the best posters on this forum.

Also I hope more people feel like you do so that my 9 year wins a spot and gets to hold the hand of an MLS player 10 years before he becomes one.

Thanks for the complement.

If it were up to me, I'd let him do the walkout for a 7:30 game, but I'd be in major Dutch with Mrs. Gotham.

My son is not going to the game (because it's a school night) unless we win the sweepstakes (because it would be a dream come true for him).

I'm expecting all 3 points on Wednesday with a clean sheet by our boys.

When my son marched on Citi field before a game (it was several years ago,) Johan Santana pitched a no hitter.

We need to find a way to get him to march in the remaining home games (at least)

So, how was it for him? Any details on how it works. Are the players nice? Who did he get?

And which one is he? (see below)

We arrived at gate 2 at 6pm and they had a bag for him with the shirt, shorts and socks he wore as well as a white pair of shorts and a home warm up jersey. We took some photos with all 22 kids and then the team reps took the kids down a tunnel and we were separated for the next hour +.

According to my son all the kids waited and talked by the Yankee batting cages. Eventually they broke them into two groups and the NYCFC players came in and grabbed one of the groups, but not my son's group.

He was paired with Kantari on TFC. My son says he was able to fist bump Poku on the field and Kantari tusseled his hair a bit.

Nobody we had watching ESPN 2 saw him but we did capture an image from the DVR. He is the guy behind the Toronto goalies' right wrist band. You can see his blond hair and profile.

He says he wants to do it again.

Awesome stuff! Very happy for you guys.

How old is your boy?

He is 9. People have been saying things like "Now he'll be a soccer fan for life." But he was already a die-hard supporter. He likes NYCFC, USMNT and FC Barcelona, and plays on an U-11 travel team in CT.

9 on a U11. Good stuff!

By the way, there is now a dad on another thread whose son also won that night. Interesting that there were multiple winners.
