Myself and another comedian who are STH in section 238 have started The Cooligans and this is the first in our video series. Some of you guys may have noticed us filming in front of Yankee Stadium, Dugout, or after the last match at Ryan's Daughter. Here's our first of many episodes. We also have a podcast coming out as well as sketches, blog, short docs, etc. Comedy + Soccer, what could go wrong? If you guys have any thoughts on this video, let us know. If you can somehow also get a mic on yourself so that you can keep the microphone on the guest it would really help the sound. Also, closer shots please. Maybe try to get the players when they come out of the stadium. Mix replying to fuck, marry, kill Pirlo, Lampard, Villa would be hilarious.

Totally agree on the sound. I have a lav on (you can kind of see it attached to my scarf) but we had issues with that recorder, the second video will have much better sound.

As far as getting players, they go to the meet-n-greet afterwards along with team meetings, etc. We are in the process of getting some player interviews going. It's all a process but with everyone's support of the Cooligans we should be able to make this thing huge and rep for NYCFC supporters and the club.
