Holy fuck, they want someone to "shoot, edit and produce" video content for their website for free, along with doing analytics and fetch coffee? That is some nickel and dime exploitative bullshit, and also keeping legit video pros out of a gig. Boo.

Every internship puts a ton of info in the posting. What the person actually does will most likely be a fraction of that, and mostly just assisting someone whose job it actually is. They make the postings sound much more glamorous because the intern typically submits that to his school or future employers.

You're forgetting the Secondary Duty: Inform forum of any club developments, regardless of how irrelevant.

When will the write-up on available Italian speaking players be posted?

I guess it could be because Spanish and Italian are similar enough to each other that speakers of one language can often understand the other. It may well be simply because your job is to understand everything that gets said and respond to it, without necessarily having to talk to those speakers.

Just a guess though. It is a bit of a weird thing to put on, especially as the speakers of Spanish in NYC must outnumber the speakers of Italian by a large multiple. Most Italian-Americans must surely be 3rd or 4th generation by now, surely?

As described, it’s probably an FLSA violation if unpaid.
