Don garber: quiet QUIET! Here's what we are going to do, bring in Perquis.

Perquis: oui, jefe?

Don: I want you to grab a man's penis.

Perquis: but but but

Don: its for the good of the game! How can we be a destination league unless you grab penis?

Perquis: OK I will do it.

Everyone: cheering, hoists cp scouse on their shoulders.

Don: And make sure it's a circumsized penis too, that's crucial.

Any know when we will find out about any suspensions for either Jacobson or Perquis? Granted the Jacobson elbow was a bit brutal but how can Perquis take a swing at people after the game and not face some type of repercussions?

this is also when we find out if kljestan gets an extra game and sits out the derby, i presume
Why would Sasha get an extra game? Was it a straight red for something flagrant?

Also what ever happened with Dempsey? Did he get a suspension?

dempsey got 3 games.

kljestan threw an elbow and got a straight red early against vancouver. i didn't think it was something that deserves an extra game suspension but there's been chatter about it (and not just from nycfc people)

Dempsey got a 3 match ban which started this weekend with the game against San Jose.

I just checked the MLS web page and the last update from the Disciplinary Report was the 19th, so no news yet on anything further concerning Jacobson or Perquis.

Totally disagree. Henry and Villa both have more competitive fire power than we will ever know. They both bust(ed) their asses on the field. They both get/got frustrated with losing and showed that frustration perhaps too much on the field. And they both want(ed) to be there. Some players (Villa) show their excitement with smiles and celebration. Some (Henry) show it with badass cool when any normal person would be grinning ear to ear. That's just a personality difference.

As for NYC I'm pretty damn happy to have Villa. But if we had Henry at 33 years old I'd be damn happy with that too. (And I bet you would as well.)
As someone who has watched EVERY SINGLE Henry game, trust me, he didn't put it all on the line. I know his personality is kinda standoffish, but believe me, his last year with Redbull he couldn't wait to get out of there. To answer your question, yes I would want Henry at 33 on this team no question but my whole point for me was to say that it was quite the contrast of emotion between Villa and Henry. One (Villa) seems to be very happy for himself and the team when good things happen and doesn't nearly show off his teammates in a bad way as much as Henry did, and the other (Henry), always looked miserable and soaked, and had body language that screamed, I WOULD RATHER BE SOMEWHERE ELSE.....
