S O S - Have critters/ wildlife under the roof

Ghostbusters will not work.
Has anyone encountered this problem? I suspect I have squirrels or raccoons.
about a month ago Been hearing like someone is walking under the roof and have come to the terrifying conclusion that I have these awful critters !!!! Yikes
Where I live there is a small wooded area , and some of my neighbors have seen raccoons.
I called the 311 and was told to call a wildlife remover specialist.
If any one in the forum has encountered this situation please give me some advice - Thanks

Get have a heart trap from home Depot. Use peanut butter as bait. You will hear them get caught. Drive them to a park a mile away. Leave the animal there, take the trap back home and repeat.

Cut the trees back that touch the house, and see if there are vents you can cover to prevent them getting in.
