for depth is not bad. he was not getting easily beat vs NE england in the 15-20 mins he had.

He's clearly impressed. To be picked out of the Two's in a pinch, using up his senior team eligibility, to getting a senior spot! Good start to the year for him!

Does this mean that he now can go back and forth between the Deuces and the first team (like Haak) or is he stuck on the pine with the first team?

yes. players on first team contracts can freely move within both teams. yesterday freese, haak, jasson, owusu, played with NYCFC II ( among others like Mcfarlane, jimenez Benalcazer who are on first team contracts but have yet to debut)

Alls ya have to do is click the link. Spoiler: started all but three matches and they went to the final. So I would say “yes.”
Fair enough. I honestly didn't even see the article link in the post and was too busy at the time to actually check the details. Thanks

We went to an NYCFC II vs Union II game a few years ago. It was GA and the Union stadium was empty, so we sat directly behind the NYCFC bench in the front row. Turnbull was possibly the most intense player I have ever watched. He missed chasing down a ball over the line a couple of times and just looked furious. He was just sprinting up and down the field at full speed every play like a pissed-off freight train. One of the coaches spent the entire game yelling things at him, such as: Stay calm, stay focused, and pace yourself.

I was surprised he didn't stick as a bench guy in MLS. When he filled in for us he didn't look very far behind the other players on the pitch. Given that outside back is often a place where MLS teams try to go cheap and save some cap space it seemed like he could find a home. Hopefully, he will continue to find success in the USL.
