Throwback

What's hilarious about this is that Empire claims to have not been biased towards NYCFC, especially after the poll they ran last year. Was laugh out loud funny when they were "shocked" to see how many NYCFC fans thought they held a biased. Now I'm not saying everything I want to read about NYCFC should be through rose colored glasses, but this and a lot of other things they post is clearly slanted. I know this specific article is a few years old and was written by a freelance reporter, but my goodness.... speechless. Oh well. I like the hate we get. It's jealousy in my opinion. Still going to read Empire purely because there is a lack of MLS coverage.

I don't think Dave Martinez (runs EOS) is biased tbh. I think coverage was definitely red heavy but I do see that it's changed and will continue to and we'll see more coverage of our Blues. Mostly it comes down to the writers and their own bias as is the case here with good ole Zac Twatstink

Agreed. Dave seems like a great guy and I appreciate the work hes put in, but I mean he has to be reading what his writers were putting out before or after they're published though, right? To be fair this article was way over the top compared to almost everything else, but they're has just been a feeling of bias from the writers in their work like you said. Can't be shocked at what the polls said.

I think my favorite (most insulting) part of the article was the "sick burn" about kiddo journalists who don't get paid for their blog posts. Considering how difficult it is to get paid as a sportswriter, especially for MLS, that comment reeks of arrogance and complete disregard for his supposed peers.
There's that, but also beforehand his listing of his organizational memberships/credentials, but he's so chill that he can't remember when he got one and wasn't interested in looking.
