off-topic here...why wouldn't Jurgen Klinsi play Lee Nguyen for USMNT....USMNT's mid attacking really lacks crativities and use Lee's talent

Per usual, you're missing the point. He didn't impress so they continue to look for other options.

It's 'as usual' and no I haven't missed the point of talking about Lee Nguyen and Klinnsman's USMNT selections in a PV thread. I believe Nguyen is useful to the USMNT and just hasn't gelled in JK's system yet. And I also believe there aren't any other options available this cycle for him to go after. Worse, Nguyen is a bench guy for the position going to Russia.
And you're conveniently glossing over the fact that Nguyen had a mediocre season. Bradley, Mix, Nagbe, Wood, Morris have all showed better playing in the slot underneath Jozy the past two years.

Actually Altidore is probably who we should discuss replacing. But I still feel Nguyen has a role.

agreed, Altidore had one or two good games, and the rest of his games at USMNT are just simply aweful. He seems mentally lazy to me and made many unforced errors and lazy passes. Bradley is another one I would like to complain. he should stay back as CDM not CAM. sorry I am hijacking the thread.

He plays a whole lot better for the USMNT than he does for NYCFC, that's for sure.
Klinsmann has made two rock solid decrees: Bradley and Altidore must play. Those two are written in sharpie in the lineup and he tries to fit the rest of the team around them. Bradley is a strange kind of hybrid #6/#8, and Altidore is a strange kind of hold up guy who doesn't hold up play and can't beat anyone one on one. So when two guys with ill defined positions are given priority starting roles, all your other players have to adapt to that. So we can't get the best out of guys like Bedoya, Mix, Dempsey, Johnson, Yedlin, Zardes, etc.
Someone like nguyen is trying to create from the top of the box, hard to do when your dopey lumbering "striker" is standing there too, and doesn't shoot when he is given a pass.

I don't know what Jozy's problem is. He's a 26 year old who - on the field - looks older than Lampard. He's so hot or cold its ridiculous. It's a shame, but I don't think that kind of unreliability is what we need going into 2018. Dempsey is much the same way. He was incredible in Brazil, and then just deflates.

Mix Wood Morris. MWM will lead up to World Cup glory.
Totally agree on Bradley and Altidore. MB should move back to DM and let more creative players run in front of him. Altidore should just sit, especially when guys like Wood and Morris play more flow-style soccer and attack space.
That said, I must be the only person that isn't high on Bedoya.
Geoff Cameron is now starting, and doing great, as a CDM for Stoke. Fabian Johnson is killing it as a LM in the Bundesliga. So, why aren't we moving those guys up to midfield, where we've been having so many problems.

Solve the eternal left back problem and you have a pretty strong starting XI. Cameron will have the defensive mindset that will allow Bradley to go box-to-box.
