Barclays Premier League 15/16

Both as a USMNT and LFC supporter, that's the move he should have gone for. I don't trust Chelsea with young players.
He'll just get loaned out to 3rd division sides unless Chelsea like him so much he becomes a squad rotation player.

2nd division. If we're lucky, Bundesliga or midtable team next year. I think he has the potential to be an UCL starting defender. It would happen sooner if he weren't at Chelsea.

That said, Chelsea isn't going to compete for UCL this year, and they won't go down. So he could get a few runouts.

There's the theory that the big European clubs horde young talent so they can't develop on other clubs even if that means they don't develop on their own club.

That wouldn't surprise me. Especially when you consider how many talented players Chelsea has in their youth squad.

Raise your hand if you are rooting for Leicester to take 3 points from our corporate overlords on Saturday.

My hand is up.

PS: Anybody Captain Huth in Fantasy?
meh. I have him on my bench. I started Sagna and from the looks of things he didn't play today. Since I only start 3 along the back line, I'm not sure if Huth will be an automatic sub for me (don't think he will be).

Watching Southampton vs West Ham now on over-the-air NBC.

That was the point of the joke, I guess. He got 14 points today after averaging a bit more than 3 per game all season.

Leicester looking for all the world like they can win this league.

But what will them be able to accomplish next years in Champions League play? Will they even have the same core players? What's the market value of that roster worth?

I don't begrudge Leicester. I've been to Leicester twice something I'd gather few Americans cans say. The locals were very friendly if bemused at my presence there.

I don't know if they'll do it but I think this will be their only chance so they have to go for it. I think Spurs will be around for the for foreseeable future. If they don't do it this year they'll get another chance or two. Their young and loaded and I think the new stadium when it comes both from capacity and renting to NFL will see them with the budget to hold onto their squad. Leicester it's hard to imagine not dropping back to mid table in coming years.

The team just signed Vardy through 2019. So far this season we have seen them add not sell. We'll have to see if they monetize Mahrez or pay him. I bet they pay him.

Besides that they don't really have anyone that other teams want. But they have a coach they play hard for. They defend and they counter like lightening right down route 1.

Leicester probably should be a mid table team last year and this and we are just seeing variance. But their chances in UCL are just as good (meaning not) as any of the other mediocre EPL teams at the top, and it's way more fun to have them than any of the others.
