They had a great time and each got to take home a full kit - jersey, shorts, socks. My 8-year-old son took the lead in washing them today - he doesn't trust anyone with his fucking jersies - and hung them up in a special place in the closet. He also got a jersey from the Easter Bunny this morning (had been planned for weeks). This was just more of a good thing for him. Now he needs to figure out what names to put on the back.
They really seemed to enjoy the whole experience of meeting the players and walking out on the pitch.
I can say also that the club does a first class job. The picture below of all the jersies laid out was from their Twitter feed. They got to do a soccer quiz and met some of the police and firemen that formed the tunnel.
