2017 Forum H2H League & Pigeon Cup

That's ridiculous, before even looking at whether I won or lost. I checked out after I learned that it wasn't going to count and left my lineup in whatever state it was in.
ETA: I won and had the second highest score, and still think that it is unfair.
Wow are you going to hate this announcement. Seems I can't open up the league for
Alex Da Silva. They locked it once the season started. I didnt expect week 1 to count. So I figured no big deal starting a new league and we all sign up there for week 2. Now we have to vote if we do that for an even 16 and $75 more in the pot, or leave it as is with the Average and not let Alex in. Thoughts?
They very clearly said it doesn't count. I believe they used the word "reset." If so, maybe they want to show the results to complete the test but it resets later in the week.
Also I beat Average like a drum in Round 1 so I'm good with it counting. 
I couldn't find where they said it would reset, but I didn't look too hard.
Also, if they're locking the H2H leagues, it seems like they are intending for Week 1 to count.

I think if the agreement was to play H2H beginning in Week 2, we should make the effort to enforce the intentions.
That said, I could see one or two people not signing up in time for the Week 2 league and causing even more problems. Messy.
I won't kill our original league. But will privately message all of us a 2nd one to sign up for. If we can't all get into the new league by Friday, we go with our backup, minus Alex and hope the week 1 results are wiped as promised.
Reset was not the word:

Now maybe they meant that the point scores zero out even for players in H2H leagues, but the H2H results stand. That's arguably consistent with what they said but stupid on the merits and very poorly written. But I still think the H2H match results will zero out. Traditionally player $$ value changes at 9am Eastern the day after the last game of each round. They haven't changed yet and I think they will remain flat because the entire first round is of no effect

So a guy in our non-H2H forum group ranked in the top 100 globally (Lewis Lovers Jack Speiser). Far be it for me to critique the guy as he blew me out of the water, but why have jonathan lewis on your bench at $5.5 knowing he absolutely will not play this week and you have unlimited subs. If your going to put a dead space guy on your roster get the cheapest you can get and spend the money else ware. Too dedicated to a team theme that guy.
That's not even the most obviously point. He has McNamara ($7.5) and Rowe ($5.5) on his bench. Why spend $1.5 more on a goalkeeper you're not even going to use and $3.5 on a midfielder you're not going to use?
So, are we adding an additional player to get 16 teams?

You're fine if you already paid. Don't see a reason we can't get this rolling in the next 2 days. If the other two don't re-signup by end of day I'll email them a reminder.
