Alright. Fine. I'll make it 4 in a row.(eta: or not. Thanks to

Here's my take on where it all went wrong: With whatever setup our midfield had, we lost a lot of the piston action we had going on that can drag central defenders and DMs out of position.
For the last few weeks, we've seen Maxi pick up the ball just on the attacking side of the midfield stripe or even before. From there, He usually has 4 forward options to play to and they all have dynamic run options.
With the set-up today, he never got the ball with any sort of space.
That's the beauty of having teams crash Pirlo and Maxi drop back. He then has ages to drive at the back line and/or pick out a pass with minimal pressure.
Tonight, Ring was tasked with too many specific instructions or not enough. (Ridiculous to say that, but I honestly can't tell.) all I know is he did not seem to be making the same runs as normal and yet he wasn't particularly contributing anything standing sort of around Pirlo and watching the attack. His talents don't allow him to contribute very much in the role he was given.
Maxi dropping in and Ring pushing past him was apparently a far bigger part of our attacking success than I figured before. Once we saw how poor things were otherwise, we should have changed.
Also, Wallace never needs to be played in a LAM/LF position such as today. He's a wide guy, and it showed in how uncomfortable he was picking up the ball in those dangerous but strange to him places.
Harrison sent in a lot of crosses. That's all I'll say about him, so read into that what you want. Wish we would have subbed him out instead of Wallace.
Would like to see Camargo get more time at some point. Khiry is pointless to bring on if he isn't even going to kick it and try run past someone. He has no finesse or technicality. Why does he pretend? The whole league knows he's shit at this point.
