I think some of you don't really understand the style of MLS. This is an attack centric league. It's probably the opposite of Serie A.
DeRossi excelled in attack centric Italy under Prandelli.

Juve is 5 points clear of Roma on top of the table and in good form. We better hope CFG can crank up their seducing powers

I know. It was more about how a quality and experienced DM is a game changer.

Yes, but Jones isn't playing a DM. Jones is all of a sudden a box to box midfielder - which he somehow just figured out he likes playing. Maybe that goal in Brazil did something to him.

De Rossi played box to box for most of his career. It was just in the last three years he switched to a more defensive role.

I don't think many of you watch Roma very often. They play a very possession oriented style. With De Rossi at the heart of that spraying balls from deep. He's far more than just a ball winner.

Hmm sounds similar to something we might be doing here.

Are you saying that he could step back into a Box to Box role? Do we have a position for him? How do you fit Mix, Lampard and DDR into a lineup? Wouldn't we be better served with a striker who can hold up play?

29 year old striker, not bad. But it has to be said we are very offensive minded.

Translated form the Bundasliga site
Berlin-Adam Nemec leaves the 1. FC Union Berlin and changes in the American Major League Soccer. He plays for the future New York City FC, a collaboration between the City Football Group and the New York Yankees.

The newly formed team will start as the 20th team in the 2015 season MLS game operation. The now 29-year-old striker came in the summer of 2012 from FC Ingolstadt Union, achieved in 64 official matches appearances 14 goals and managed to return to the national team of his home country Slovakia.

"It is a pity that cooperation has not worked as both sides had imagined. Under these circumstances, it is better to part ways. I wish Adam all the best and much success in New York, "said Union coach Norbert Düwel.

"It was difficult last weeks and I am glad that we have now found a solution. I take a couple of painful experiences, but also very good memories with. In my time at Union I managed to return to the national team, with whom I absolutely the European Championship want. For this I must play and I finally this chance again. I thank especially in the great fans of Union, who have always supported me, "said Adam Nemec his retirement.

"We have now brought the talks in recent weeks to a successful conclusion. I am also looking for Adam and wish him a good start in New York, "Nico Schäfer, commercial and organizational manager of licensed players department.

Originally by summer 2016 dated contract by Adam Nemec at 1. FC Union Berlin was dissolved by mutual agreement with immediate effect.

There are a ton of goal videos for him on youtube, though none are especially telling. He seems to be somewhat in the goal poacher mould from the handful that I watched.

Excellent. I'm finally comfortable with our forward depth, being 4-5 deep up there.

Finally adding Calle would shore up CM.

But still weak at CDM, CB, and FB. Going to be a lot of 3-2 wins and losses. At least it'll be exciting.

He should be feasting from defenses focusing on Villa.

So his contract was dropped and we signed him for free. I like that.

Seems that he was their back-up striker.
