So there is a lot of second hand reports being thrown around on this thread. I was the TR member who was involved in the HoO incident. WE HAD TICKETS TO SECTION 237 - I CANNOT MAKE THIS CLEAR ENOUGH. I met my friends in front of 238 and thought it was a little weird but didnt think much of it because I saw a lot of people going back and forth between 237 and 238 at the first match. If someone from 238 wants only people with 238 tickets to be in that section then fine. I like the idea of people being able to go visit other SGs and friends in other sections but if that is not cool then so be it. Within 5 minutes of standing in front of the HoO banner someone started yelling "I hate your f***ing jacket", told me to F myself, yelled s*** about the TR, and accused me and my friends of yelling at HoO members. I didnt take this to heard because I just assumed it was some drunk guy voicing his opinion. Shortly thereafter a HoO member took it upon himself to come down and get in my face. He accused me of saying "go f*** yourself" to a girl who was holding the HoO banner. THIS IS TOTALLY FALSE. He then grabbed my arm and started pushing me and demanded that I leave the section. I tried to remain calm and asked him to relax. I told him we just wanted to enjoy the match and mentioned people moved sections all the time last match. Again, I know I had tickets to 237. Thats when he grabbed my head with his other hand and tried to throw me out of the section. I yelled at him to get the f*** off me. At this point my friends got involved and the cop came over. There was a lot of "what the f*** are you doing" being yelled from my group. This is because they were reacting to the guy grabbing me and trying to toss me. The situation cooled and we left the section. After the match we went over to the guys and tried to talk it out so that there would be no bad blood between HoO and TR. They were cold and didnt want to talk to us because we were not TR board members. A few of the guys did end up talking to us and they were alright. We said we were sorry and that we didnt realize it was such a big deal to be in the wrong section. They let us know that it was and we said we would stay in ours from now on. Thats it. Thats how it ended. I know we should not have been in 238. I did not think it was a big deal. I was wrong about that. However, I never should have had someone grab me and try to physically throw me. That was the main issue I had with the situation. We were both in the wrong and I hope people learn from this. Bad blood between HoO and TR will make going to NYCFC matches anything but fun.
