So, how much GAM would NYCFC take for Tommy Mac? Or what player would a team deal for him? We could use a LB in the interim for Mata and when he's eventually sold.

I also bought a McNamara jersey this year so in the line of Mix and Poku, another once fan favorite is bound to be leaving NYCFC.

My preference would be for a starting caliber versatile right/left/center back. It would be nice to have an upgrade over White, a better backup option for Mata, and someone who could slot into the center in a pinch. TMac is just midfield depth at this point and I think we need depth on the backline more this season.

With Camargo, McNamara becomes expendable. Maybe not in a normal league, but certainly in a capped system like ourself

I would definitely like a RB like Afful or something.

I don't necessarily think we need another CB, EXCEPT, if we were to get a strong, right-footed CB with ball skills that could play RCB in a 3-man back line that would allow us to play a 3-3-4 or 3-4-3 or whatever without counting on Brillant to start.

I'm fine with Brillant being the backup in that formation, but don't want him in there every day.

I'm not entirely sure where the whole "Camargo > Mac" thing comes from. Camargo has been about as pedestrian as anyone out there so far.

TMac is 4 years younger than Dax. I think that would merit a higher price. More of him in his prime.

TMac is on lower wages, just signed a new deal so he is controllable and he is younger.

I don't think he is worth Dax, but he is probably worth $250k if Dax was worth $400k.

I'm excited for him. Think about how much weight he will lose playing out of position for Kreis in Orlando? He may be their 3rd CB.

I will disagree, but only slightly. We just haven't seen enough of Camargo to know what he could do. He is like the backup quarterback for any NFL team - very popular based on our imagination of what he could be.

You could be wrong about McNamara and right about Camargo all at once

Well the first transfer window has come and passed. It opens again on July 10.
Just because it's closed doesn't mean that nothing was done. Transaction could have been completed and will be announced later. Pretty sure it's happened before. Not calling it likely, but I do believe it has precedent.
