What exactly is 237? I stand there any no one seems to be organized. I feel like 236 and 238 get all the love. Discuss.

It seems like it's becoming a bit of a no man's land.

The more vocal Third Rail people seem to congregate in 236. I don't know if their tickets are all there or if that's just how it ended up, but I tend to see 236 referred to as "the" TR section.

Hearts of Oak are in 238, so it gets a lot of love as well.

So, of people who originally bought tickets in 237, you have a chunk migrating to 236, and another chunk going to 238 (points at self) or some other section they've connected with. Assuming I'm right about that, it's not really a surprise that 237 can seem quieter or less organized.

Given all this, I'm curious and nervous to see what happens with the section assignments next season. Will two sections still be reserved for TR even if they're - in a sense - only filling one? Or will the FO not see an issue, since both sections seem about equivalently full? What happens to people in 236/237 who are no longer in TR, but as Founding Members should have right of first refusal on their tickets? Etc.

(All of the above is my experience/opinion/assessment and isn't meant to represent any group.)

There is no way they will let them only have the one section. It will look bad on T.V. It will also make it seem like less people are interested. I am technically in the 3rd rail but I sorta want to watch the game. I sing of course but those behind don't do anything. Most of the TR forum concerns how to get Capos in that section. I think folks want to support and watch, hence 237. Plus who can see past Keith's head in 238?

Couldn't removing the TR requirement make the section more full?

From what I understand the FO is loosening the TR requirements for 237 since Third Rail hasn't been able to fill out the entire area. I'm seeing more and more people getting season tickets in 237 who aren't TR.

I wish I had known that. I identify a lot more with the brown bag then the rail. I don't think the rail has an identity yet. It will be cool though if the support section as our SSS will be called the bleachers when it opens, someday. I should let TR know that 237 isn't all supporters and that we should stop yelling at them to sing.

The thing is though, 237 is the supporters section. I don't really care how many supporters sections there are but they should at least be vibrant. I'd rather have 2 than 4 half-assed ones.
