No Maxi due to yellow card suspension.
I expect a Pirlo, Ring, Herrera midfield which is better than the Pirlo, Ring, Moralez midfield we saw at Toronto. The double cover allows Pirlo to do more and be Pirlo. Or put a typical forward (Jack or McNamara) in the midfield and start Okoli.
This game will be over by 1 AM, so we better put a good performance. LA is shit at home but now they have Jonathan Dos Santos.

I'm with you here. Give me the same lineup we just had but Pirlo in and Maxi out. Would love to see Wallace available on the bench and have him sub in for some fitness. Just please please please no Pirlo AND TMac.
The choice is either Pirlo with Ring and Herrera, or we start 3 of Jack, TMac, Shelton and Lewis and put one at CAM.
What stinks about the Yellow for Maxi is that he was one game from the good behavior reduction.
No TMAC, with or without Pirlo, ever.

Galaxy are garbage this year, so not crushing the life out of them would be disappointing. Now I've cursed us.
So hyped for the game. It's been too long since a NYCFC game day for me.
Well, this isn't exactly the same team that has been struggling all year. They've added a new coach, who has had a couple games to get a new system in place, and a new DP. We are going to have to be ready for this one.

Maybe go with a flat 442 with Ugo in for Maxi?
Go either 334 or 352. Maxi is our engine - he does more to move the ball forward than anybody else.
I'd go 3-3-4 if we had Maxi and Chanot. I'd be a little nervous in that formation for a full game without both of them.
In general. Thought the question was not specific to the LA match, but with how to get a big body on the field full time.

White alongside Brillant and Callens
Pirlo Herrera and Ring in the middle
Lewis and Jack on the wings
Ugo up top with Villa
I do want to believe that PV has developed some attacking systems specifically to exploit Okoli. I really do want to believe that.
