So I'm a Roma fan and all I've been reading is Benatia is heading to City. But now today there are reports that City had their bid for Mangala accepted from Porto. So I'm curious what you guys are hearing at your end regarding Benatia?

There are conflicting rumours floating around. One that The Telegraph picked up saying our bid was accepted and it is just a matter of agreeing personal terms. The others indicated that Mangala is holding out until after the World Cup to invite other interest as he would rather go elsewhere (but will go to City if no other clubs make reasonable bids).

The fee being quoted is fairly high, even for someone that young with potential still to come, so I'm not sure how I feel about the first rumour. And if the second is true than I would say cut off all negotiations as the last thing we would want, regardless of talent, is another player that believes he is doing the club a favour by coming to them.

We'll obviously find out in the coming weeks.

I have heard that PSG are trying to Hijack Mangala deal, also Benetia deal dependent upon Roma finding a replacement. So I don't think either deal is a cert

also just read that Juve are targeting Nastasic if true we could be in for both ?

I can't see it. It would leave us in "must sell players to come under FIFA spending limit" territory, and that's not reckoning with having to then replace the players we sold.

Horrific if you ask me and very, very lazy from the Nike design team. I won't go into the same diatribe as my post on Bluemoon but suffice to say I don't think they care much about us as partners (even our overall contract amount is very low given how much we have developed since it was signed).

All the stories about Nastasic having to be sold are winding me up. The rules say that he doesn't have to be registered as he started the calendar year as an under-21 player, so he of all people is 100% safe from the squad restrictions.

Wish they would have gone with white shorts or the dark blue for the shorts. A monochrome sky blue doesn't seem right.
