MLS Week 20 - 2018

I call bullshit-
ATL DWLWD
NYC WLWWW
And you want to tell me ATL still tops the power rankings, drawing to a lifeless Seattle team, while NYC, stripped of their three firepowers, rampage through two top-tier and one low-tier MLS teams?
Sometimes these power rankings make no sense. I remember one time they had a team rise a few levels, and the caption below was "___ rise a few places because we still think they are capable of a lot." Well, I'm sorry MLSSoccer editorial staff, but power rankings are not supposed to be based on your feelings, but based on stats and streaks, and who is "hot" right now. And statistically, NYC have been a better team than ATL over the past 5 games.

Why do I care at all? I don't, because regardless of what they post, it won't change how we play. It's just mindboggling how biased and "feeling"-centric the MLSsoccer team is. That includes Bobby Warshaw during Instant Replay, as well.

I think you will like the ESPN rankings better. I don't necessarily agree with Soccer America, but it is food for thought.

And the Red Bulls defeat a team that is 7th overall and drop a spot.
to be fair, that's because NYCFC jumped all the other top 5 other than ATL- however RB should have jumped above LAFC.

Wow, espn's I like a lot: They much more accurately represent form. I'm going to have to start following the ESPN power rankings!

I don’t usually agree with idea that Atlanta gets favoritism, but it’s crazy that Martinez gets absolutely no punishment for the headbutt vs Seattle. He’s a “star player” so I wasn’t necessarily expecting a suspension, but he didn’t even get fined
