This is our chance to jump a point back behind Atlanta. I think Toronto will play them well. Also LAFC has a strong chance at beating NJ

Unfortunately ATL and RB are both at home. I bet we all nab 3 points, but one of us could slip up.

Parkhurst is hurt, right? ATL is already weak on defense, so if he's not playing they could be vulnerable.

RB plays LAFC, so they have a very real chance of dropping points.

Parkhurst came back after that tweet went out and said it was just a knock on his ankle and he was likely still good for tonight’s ASG and definitely fine for this weekend

Maybe Pirlo can make a phone call and have a trialist kick him a few times in the shin? That's what alumnus players do, right?

Someone explain to me how LGP isn't redcard suspended every game hes eligibl. He's a trash defender, relying only on bullshit and ATL social media to prop him up. He should have been red carded on the Ricketts goal, but wouldn't have, even if Ricketts missed.

This is the problem with not having Steven Lenharts in the league. LGP would be laid up in a recovery room, not out on twitter with folks who don't understand footy calling him the best CB in the league.

ATL is a protected team in a league praying they go to the CCL. Nothing will ever happen to that narrative to derail them.

Edit: and to add, that was definitely not a penalty as bono got a hand to the ball first.

If New Jersey win this afternoon, they move ahead of us and into a tie with Atlanta on points per game. If they tie, we remain a hair’s width ahead of them on points per game.

Come on, Carlos. Give me the good stuff.

Just briefly considered going to the match, but then I remembered how painful that trip to Harrison is, especially on the weekend.

Big doings at the end of the TFC Atlanta game. Chris Mavinga got a red card. It came after time ended so there was no effect on that game, but Toronto's next game is against us.
Jozy Altidore put his hands around Almiron's neck. He was not carded, and Almiron actually seemed oddly complacent about it, but we'll have to see.
There are allegations that Almiron spit on Mavinga. The video I saw was far from conclusive. But there is, at least, the potential for disciplinary action against him, also.

Suspend them all.

But with the league obvious favoritism towards Atlanta, nothing will happen to Almiron. Once we get a stadium, I’d like this preferential treatment too.

He plays for Atlanta, so I’m guessing there isn’t.

Ooops. Lion already covered this ground.

There is a league narrative to get ATL to the CCL. Stejkal even wrote an article about Atlanta “conquering the world”. Garber wants to showcase MB’s 45k against Mexican teams.

One thing I can say...they better win something this year because you know that Josef and Almiron aren’t expecting to be in ATL in 2019. If the league doesn’t sell them expect a revolt from those two.
