Season Ticket Holders: Anyone Been Asked About Renewals For Next Year?

My husband tried renewing our loved seats online, ran into difficulties and got a guy on the land line. First, a big Thank You to us Founding Members...the cost per seat (we have two) went up near $150 per seat! I appreciated the big thank you email Reyna sent, cool...now it seems it was to cushion the blow of price increase! Yes, we love our seats and new friends we made around us...we payed. But, I am quite annoyed at the volume of price increase. If you take an average of 15,000 founding members and multiply that by just a $100 per increase...that is $1,500,000 more being made off us beloved Founding Members. And, that is a way low "ballpark" figure. Go figure. I certainly hope compensation is made otherwise.

I think you are mistaken. if you are in Category 1, your tickets went up from $52 per game to $55 or a total of $51 per seat per season. Not sure why you think there was a $150 increase.

Yeah i dont know about your situation but 15,000 people aren't getting a 100 per increase.

I have Category 5 seats and they went up $2/ticket/game. $68 for the season for both seats combined.

I haven't gotten an email about renewing seats. Am I the only one? Should I be worried?

"*Please note, some rows in the 100 Level have been renumbered for the 2016 season, but your physical seat location will remain the same."
Sounds contradictory - warrants a call for clarification......
Spoke to my account manager over the phone and asked about this. Yankee Stadium is re-numbering the rows on the bottom 100 level. Currently, the first row of each section could start at a different row number, but next year the first row of each section in the 100 level will start with 1.

I believe the original thinking behind the current set up was since each section might not have the same number of rows, they wanted the row numbers to match for adjacent sections, like so:
__
|1 1 \_
|2 2 2 \_
|3 3 3 3 3\_
|4 4 4 4 4 4\
--------------
For instance, if a section currently has the first row starting at 16 and the section only has 10 rows, the last row would be 25. Next year the last row will be row 10.

So, the physical locations of the seats will not change - only the row numbers in the 100 level. Hope this helps.

Honestly I am appreciative of this. My seats are in row 15 which is actually the 4th row. I think YS is really just fixing a mistake they made.

It does, thanks!

Renewed for 2016! Though I'd like to know what some of these year-round benefits of City Membership entails? Like what are they going to do between the months of December-March?

Did anyone get the enrollment form yet? It comes after you pay your invoice. I paid on Thursday afternoon, hasn't arrived yet. Hopefully it shows up in my inbox on Monday where I can sign my life away to NYCFC.

From the NYCFC.com site

"How do I enroll in the Founding City Membership and secure my seats for the 2016 season and beyond?

Click Here to login to your AccountManager. Then click the Pay Now button listed next to your Founding City Membership invoice. After submitting payment, you will be emailed the Enrollment Form within 3 business days. You must sign and submit this form within 72 hours in order to complete your enrollment and secure your seats."

And from the AccountManager page on the invoice

"Please note that all sales are final. Payments are not refundable. Now that you have submitted a payment for the 2016 Season, you will be emailed the Founding City Membership Agreement & Enrollment form via DocuSign. You must sign and submit this form in order to complete your enrollment and secure your seats for the 2016 season and beyond."

I never even got the email announcing the renewals with the backpack etc. It took a couple days but the invoice finally popped up in my account manager so I just paid it. I emailed my rep but haven't heard back from him, which is unusual. This whole process is nerve wracking.

Same here. I just clicked buttons and paid invoices. Contacted my rep and he said everything was fine. Contact your rep. I'm sure you're good.

Signed up as a founding member this morning and I haven't heard anything since. I asked fan services and the Cityzens credentials should come through in the next two weeks and on the phone this morning, the guy said to me that probably end of October or so there should be an option to pick seats for next year and pay the remaining balance.

I renewed last Thursday morning and haven't received the Enrollment Form so I got worried and shoot my rep an email about it.
Below is the response.

I just got a email asking me to secure my seats now for extra points.
Its the same one I got last week when I re-upped
confusing

In case anyone's thinking of getting a founding member season ticket I just got one by calling Fan Services. I already renewed my seat in 237 but decided I really did want to get a second seat for next year. There's no more supporters section seats left (well, at least none in 237) but I got a category 6 ticket for the final match this season and will be able to get both tickets moved together in November once they start the seat selection process. So if you're thinking of getting another seat (or perhaps just your first one) you can still do it even though there's only one match left.

I got an email an hour ago with the subject line :
Cityzens Update: Secure your Seats for 2016 for Extra City Points

Still haven't heard back from my rep. first time he's taken more than a few hours to get back to me. I dunno I made a payment so I'm less worried about it now.

I got asked to renew (section217) mainly because my section will be away team supporters next year and they want me to move over... Ugh can I push for an upgrade you think? Where should I move to? Maybe thirdrail has room for me ;-)
