I am not in this area now, so I did not go to a bar in the area. I was in Philadelphia at one point so you may want to try the Tilted Kilt or the 700 Club. As you know, this is Union territory so I don't know how well one will be received.
We may try going to the Tilted Kilt since it's very large and will be easier to have them turn on a NY sports game on without pissing off too many Flyers fans. I know we're in Union territory and we're not trying to start anything, just looking for other displaced NYCFC fans to watch the matches with. I know Tilted Kilt has some semi-private rooms (more like alcoves with TV's) where they may be willing to put the game on and turn the volume up since it's not likely they would put the game on for the whole bar.
Anyone else in the area looking for a spot? Let me know and I'll see if we can get a TV reserved for us.
hey any help is greatly appreciated! I'm trying to go to the philly game on april 11th ad was wondering if there is away supporters section, i want to stand with my brothers at this game. thanks!
Awesome! I'll also be there April 11th with a bunch of friends! Yes, there is a Supporters Section. Are you a member of the Third Rail? You can buy tickets through them (I don't believe you need to be a member to buy tickets though).
The Third Rail will be the ones who will supply tickets to all away games if you want to sit in the Away Supporters sections. I've posted the link for Philly below. Supposedly they got 450 tickets for NYCFC Supporters, so hopefully we're able to have a pretty good showing!
