I am in Lake placid and went to the 35 anniversary of the Miracle on Ice last night. don't consider myself a fanboy of anything but it was a great event.
Afterwards I met Gabe Polsky a film maker who has a movie about to open called RED ARMY . Its about the 1980 games told from the side of the russians.
Great story about Soviet hockey by a kid who is 1st generation American from Russia who looked at their hockey machine from their side. great stuff the nive thing is that hockey and soccer people tend to be on the same page
