Thank you. It was a great cup competition this year everyone!
Yes, it's been a ton of fun. But you can only imagine the trolling I have been getting at home from the 6 year old after removing Rooney. I consulted him and he warned me that I would lose if I did. Yup. You will likely hear about it from him.

Can my team hire him as a consultant?

It's even more ridiculous that the system uses that as a tie-breaker, as if players are responsible for how many points their opponents score.
[checks league table]
[sees who leads league with fewest point against]
Guys I totally take that back. Incorporating points against into the tie breaker is completely logical and fair.

Ha, any time. He actually has his own team this season, and is impressively up there in universal ranking. I don't provide any input and just let him do his thing. His only flaw very early on was liking to use NYCFC players and avoiding Red Bulls, but he quickly learned. His other challenge is his bed time, which causes some lineup issues and some limits on some of the lineup 'roo tricks although he tries his best to utilize the concepts. He enjoys it, my wife not so much. He also talks a lot of trash. He has been pining for a spot in our Forums league next season.

yeah thats pretty unlucky pts against, but he didn't do himself any favors with the pts for. "If you ain't first you're last"; so no worries there.

The standing tiebreaker is a joke, I fully expect it to be ignored if there is a money spot on the line because as I said way way back somewhere this year has been a shitshow in fantasy developments. It makes no sense to double reward a guy who has less points against with higher standing; it should already be reflected in his head to head scoreline. Give it to the guy who puts up more points. Why even trade a stupid stat like net points?! It literally means nothing in this league where all players are available to everyone.
Commissioner (who has fewer points right now than most others in the top half) says the tiebreaker for our league is points scored not point differential. I have been consistent on that all year.

The rooney/acosta dynamic is frustrating, each week I want to play one of them (and/or both with DGW) and have to decide who is going to go off this week ( and who is worth a cap for dgw). Cost me in the Semis unfortunately, but if you told me I'd be a coin flip away from making the finals I'd sign up 100% of the time. I didn't pay as much attention this week since I'm not playing for much, but I am fairly certain I would have been blown out, so probably best for neutrals i wasn't in it.

Yes. The Prize is $270.

Prizes for Fall Season are: 1st $155, 2nd $55, 3rd $35

This has become a hefty 25 page thread.
Yeah. We changed the prizes at least twice so I always want to double check before I pay out because I'm never sure I'm looking at the right post.

Pretty sure we made 3rd place the $155 just to mix things up a bit, gotta read through the posts again to confirm, but lets just keep going on the premise for now.

Can we get some of the ghost owners to step up and at least put in lineups of players who have games this week?

Coincidentally every team plays every other team exactly once this Fall season so there is no one getting an extra week against a weaker player.

Yes, but --- playing against a ghost team in a week with so many byes is a distinct advantage vs. playing them in a week with a full schedule.

True, but its also kind of like NYCFC having to play PHI, MTL and DC at the end of the year when they are good while ATL and NJRB played a bunch of games against them when they sucked at the beginning of the year.

Unless ATL and NJRB got to play those teams with only 6 players on the field,
