I would suggest calling him "Lordi of the Rings" but you might have to be European to get that one.

I've heard that other Europeans actually take Eurovision seriously. That's...not how we take it, lol. It's only ever entertainment purposes for us, which is why our commentators literally spend the entire programme mocking every act:

According to the Finnish FA, Alexander Ring has injured his knee in Turkey. Obviously a twisted knee, and luckily not the cruciate ligaments. He'll be out probably for a couple of months.

Well there goes the Supporters' Shield and maybe even qualifying for the Champions League through the aggregated standings from 2017 and 2018. Hopefully everyone is healthy enough in time for MLS Cup.

I love Ring and think he’s the GOAT but some of you are so dramatic. Let’s play the games. This is exactly why we have Ofori now

Huge blow to the team. We’ll see how PV handles it this weekend. Hopefully our acquisitions prove to be all that we hoped they would.

I wouldn't be too surprised to see both Herrera and Ofori to play a bit deeper (as double "six") while Ring is out, and Maxi in front of them.

a "twisted knee", which is not a real injury by the way, is a 2-6 week recovery time. We don't know the extent of the injury at this time. Let it play out.

I don't understand how people went from twisted knee to cancelling the season so quickly.

Well, one of the Finnish articles translated into "broken knee".

For all we know, he may be healed by the end of the international break, so it’d be a wash on how long he’s gone. That’s best case scenario, which is quite possible. If really only a twisted knee, with no tears, then he could get a brace/sleeve to wear to increase the stability and be fine to go.

Then again, I’m not holding my breath that he won’t slip on the floor going from the gurney to the MRI machine at the New York Presbyterian facility. With their track record, the Kitman should download iTriage app and treat him with ice-baths and keep him away from NYP.
