Marvel Movies (look Back At Phase 1 & 2) And A Look Foward To Josh Brolin's Thanos

I get kind of annoyed by film franchises, in the same way that I get annoyed by games like CoD trying to dominate and essentially annex the entire gaming industry, but I have to admit that the Marvel films have been very impressive. Some characters I like more than others - the Iron Man films were pretty hit and miss to me, for example - but overall it's been done really well.

Guardians of the Galaxy is an awesome film, by the way.

Guardians of the Galaxy was incredible. Been waiting a long time for it, can't believe its finally here. :D

Nailed it. I think as far as Marvel movies go, I'd rank them Iron Man 1 > Guardians of the Galaxy > Captain America Winter Soldier > Avengers

Can't wait for Avengers Age of Ultron. Heard the audio to the first trailer they showed at SDCC. "And look, no strings on me!"

Can't wait!

I heard the movie brought in $100 million its first weekend in the USA box office. Which obliterates the record for an August release. :D

James Gunn wants to do Thunderbolts next and he says they told him if he makes GotG a big enough success they'll let him do whatever he wants. So there's a good hope....

Hopefully it's the original thunderbolts with Baron Zemo surprise, not the Red Hulk, Punisher, Venom one.

Hearing nothing but good things about GOTG. Planning on going tomorrow . we have $ 5 all day Tuesdays at a couple theaters near here in Connecticut. So far I'd say Iron Man, Winter Solider and Avengers were the elites with The two Thor movies, 2nd and 3rd Iron Man , and first Cap ranging from pretty good to utterly mediocre. No total duds like Green Lantern though.

What about Hulk 1 & 2?

To be fair Pax though he had some entertaining moments in Avengers I've just never cared for Hulk as a character , save maybe Grey Mr. fix it mobster Hulk, so I've never actually seen any of the Hulk films all the way though.

Saw it last night myself also enjoyed it. Felt as much like a Han Solo centric Starwars or Firefly/Serenity to me as a super hero movie which is not a bad thing.

If you want to avoid spoilers I hope that you don’t follow LesSean McCoy on Twitter.

Saw Endgame this morning. Thought it was decent. I’m not really invested in the Marvel universe, so I’m probably not their target.

Yeah - You can't walk into this movie without having seen at least a handful of other of the MCU movies to understand this film, or maybe care about the characters.

I thought it was amazing. It's not a great film, but it's a great superhero movie.

I loved it -- the fan service was amazing.

There were, however, some major potholes and some odd choices that they'll have to address somehow I. The next phase.

I don't know if this is a spoiler-free zone and I can't figure out how to do a spoiler hide.
